National Adoption Month

Every year, November is recognized as National Adoption Month! At Apple Payne Law, PLLC, we love handling adoption cases.

The yearly event began as a weeklong celebration of adoption awareness in 1976, as a way to promote the need for foster families to take in children in foster care. Over the years, support grew and in 1995, President Bill Clinton made the announcement that November would now be National Adoption Month. Events are held country-wide to keep awareness alive that there are children waiting and hoping for loving, permanent homes.

Apple Payne Law, PLLC enjoys bringing together families through stepparent or private adoptions.  Every adoption case reveals its own challenges and conditions. The adoption process, like many family law cases, is emotional and complex. You’re vested in the child you wish to adopt and run the risk of allowing your emotions to get the best of you. Be sure to choose representation that can guide you through the legal process. Let us handle the paperwork and details, while you start planning the adoption party and the shower of affection that the new child in your life will receive.
